I grew up in a medical family and understand the world of medicine well. I've edited books by physicians.
I spent most afternoons in a dance studio and on stage as a child and young adult (earning a BA in Fine Arts/Dance) and also understand this world well.
Having taught English as a second language for many years, I love working with authors whose first language is not English.

Project Fees, Turnaround Time, and AI policy

Editing fees depend on the genre in which you are working, the complexity and length of your project, the type/scope of editing you are requesting, and turnaround time. I will provide you with a project proposal once I have seen your manuscript and we have discussed what you would like to accomplish with an editor.

I require a $250.00 deposit to hold your place in my schedule.

I ask for a 50 percent deposit to begin work on your project, with the remaining due at the completion of the project. If you need a different payment plan, I'm happy to discuss this.

Turnaround time depends on the specifics of your project, as well as what I already have scheduled. It's best to contact me so we can discuss your needs.

I do not use AI in my editing, and I do not accept manuscripts/projects that have any text created by AI.
